Susannah (Alene) Mason
Hey, I’m
I’m an Industrial Designer with a passion for sustainable design and tackling hard problems.
During my time in undergrad, I interned with Chick-Fil-A’s innovation team and presented my work twice at their corporate headquarters. After graduation, I traveled across the world to judge the first STEM fair in Kosovo. Since graduating in 2022, I’ve worked with a skilled team of designers and engineers across multiple industries.
I believe true creativity requires many voices and perspectives working towards the united goal of making a more beautiful and useful world.
I bring passionate curiosity to every project.
I found Industrial Design at a summer camp for art and design right after my freshman year of high school. I went into it convinced I’d study studio art and left with curiosity about design.
It was a huge lightbulb moment for me when I discovered there was a career that combined my passions for problem solving and visual communication.
Now I’m growing my design skills through sewing, 3D printing, and writing my design newsletter Iterations. I love understanding how and why things work, whether that's getting lost in the details of my coffee routine, sketching out an idea, or spending hours at the local art museum.
